Are leveraged US stock investments entitled to dividends?

You are entitled to receive dividends if the company you invest in distributes dividends. The dividends you receive are net dividends that have been reduced by 30% tax for leveraged US stocks. You will receive dividends if the net dividend you receive is at least 0.1 shares on the cum date.

Example of Contract-Based US Stock Dividend Calculation:

You will be entitled to receive dividends if on the cum date you already own 0.1 shares.

For example, company B pays $2.00/share as dividends.

So the dividends you will get are:

$2 x 0,1 x 70% = $0,14 dividend.

However, if you own shares after the cum date or 4x Leverage Day Trade shares, you are not entitled to dividends.

You will receive dividends 1-3 business days after the official payment date. You can see the dividends you received in your wallet transaction history:

1. Go to the “Balance” page.
2. Select the “USD Balance” menu.
3. Select the “Transaction History” icon.
4. Move to the “Balance” tab.

The dividend tax value you receive is the net value because it is deducted from the source. You will not receive a tax slip for this deduction. However, you are still required to report profits and dividends as income in your Annual Tax Return (SPT).
