Ethereum's EIP-8141 proposes easier wallets with bundled transactions, key rotation, and gas fee paymasters.

Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin has proposed EIP-8141, aiming to simplify Ethereum wallets by allowing multiple actions in one transaction, supporting key rotation to reduce reliance on seed phrases, and enabling apps to pay users' gas fees. This could make Ethereum more user-friendly, especially for newcomers, by combining steps like token approval and swapping into a single confirmation. The proposal also adds support for stronger cryptographic signatures and is under consideration for the upcoming Hegotá upgrade, though no activation date is set yet. Developers are currently focused on the Glamsterdam upgrade expected in late 2026.
