The Bank of New York Mellon Corporation (BNY) announced that Vikram "Vik" Malhotra will join its Board of Directors as an independent director starting October 1, 2026. Malhotra brings over 40 years of experience from McKinsey & Company, including leadership roles in banking and financial services. His expertise is expected to enhance BNY's strategic growth and governance as the company continues to evolve. With this addition, BNY's board will have 12 members, 11 of whom are independent, reinforcing strong governance practices.
