Allstate and NACDA honor 20 student-athletes for leadership in sports and community service, led by UVA's Shelby Bavin.

Allstate and the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) announced the 2025-26 Spring Good Works Team, recognizing 20 student-athletes for excellence in athletics, academics, and community service. University of Virginia senior Shelby Bavin was named team captain for her dedication as a volunteer firefighter and EMT, contributing over 2,000 service hours. The program highlights student-athletes across all college divisions who lead impactful community initiatives. Honorees receive monetary support to further their causes, with special recognition for the captain, promoting leadership beyond sports.
