Trump Media, Crypto.com, and Yorkville Acquisition have mutually ended their planned business combination to form Trump Media Group CRO Strategy, a digital asset treasury company focused on the CRO token. The decision was driven by current market conditions and shifting business priorities. Following the announcement, the CRO token dropped over 4%. Crypto.com CEO Kris Marszalek stated that after thorough review, proceeding under current market conditions was not viable. Crypto.com will explore other ETF opportunities and alternative ways to use the CRO token to boost revenue and ecosystem growth. The companies also ended a related partnership involving Crypto.com servicing Yorkville America ETF offerings, though Yorkville's ETF plans remain unchanged otherwise.
