Stanley Black & Decker has agreed to sell its Excel Industries business, known for the Hustler brand of professional-grade mowers, to Bad Boy Mowers. Excel is expected to generate about $300 million in revenue in 2026. This sale allows Stanley Black & Decker to concentrate on expanding its key outdoor brands like Cub Cadet, Dewalt, and Craftsman, especially in electric outdoor products. The transaction is pending regulatory approval and is not expected to reduce the company's adjusted earnings per share.
