SpaceX launches Grok 4.5 AI model, boosting coding efficiency and cutting costs in enterprise AI market.

SpaceX has released Grok 4.5, an advanced AI model developed with Cursor, aimed at improving coding and agentic workflows for enterprise use. This 1.5 trillion parameter model offers performance close to leading AI models like Anthropic's Claude Opus 4.8 and OpenAI's GPT 5.5 but at significantly lower costs and higher token efficiency. Priced at $2 per million input tokens and $6 per million output tokens, Grok 4.5 is about 4.2 times more efficient than its competitors on key tasks. This launch positions SpaceX to compete in the $23 trillion enterprise AI market, with UBS rating SpaceX shares as Buy and setting a $210 price target based on growth in its space, connectivity, and AI segments.
