Silhouette has introduced a request-for-quote (RFQ) system on the Hyperliquid mainnet for trading xStocks tokenized equities. This system allows traders to request price quotes from multiple market makers who compete to offer the best bid, with transactions settled onchain. The RFQ model enables trading of xStocks without requiring dedicated order books initially, with the possibility for active assets to graduate to standalone HyperCore markets. This launch follows the August rollout of five native HyperCore spot markets on Hyperliquid and aims to support growing demand in tokenized equity trading, which has seen over $40 billion in volume and 200,000 holders across xStocks.
