EU panel recommends approval of RASONQUE for metastatic pancreatic cancer after strong trial results

The European Medicines Agency's Committee for Medicinal Products for Human Use (CHMP) has given a positive opinion recommending marketing authorization for RASONQUE (daraxonrasib), an oral treatment for adults with metastatic pancreatic adenocarcinoma who have had prior systemic therapy. This recommendation follows Phase 3 trial results showing RASONQUE reduced the risk of death by 60% compared to chemotherapy, significantly improving survival outcomes. If approved by the European Commission, RASONQUE would be the first broad RAS-targeted therapy available in the EU for this aggressive cancer. The drug was also recently approved by the U.S. FDA, and Revolution Medicines plans to seek further approvals globally.
