Thomas succeeds interim CEO Teri Bariquit, who will become non-executive chair of the board. The company is focusing on strengthening its core rental business, which grew revenue by 20.8% year over year to $97.7 million in the latest quarter. Rent the Runway is also investing in AI-powered features and streamlining operations by ending pilots and initiatives outside its core offerings.
