Dell's AI backlog nearly doubles to $95B; FY2027 revenue guidance rises to $192B with EPS up 42%.

Dell Technologies reported a near doubling of its AI backlog to $95 billion and trailing twelve-month AI orders exceeding $131.7 billion. The company raised its fiscal year 2027 revenue guidance to about $192 billion and increased its earnings per share (EPS) forecast by 42% to $25.50. In Q2, EPS surged 203% alongside 58% revenue growth, supported by historically low operating expenses at 8% of revenue. Growth was broad-based with traditional servers up 122%, storage up 26%, and client solutions group (CSG) up 20%, reducing reliance on AI servers. However, mid-single-digit margins on AI servers and rising financing debt and memory costs may pressure future earnings quality.

Dell Technologies shares trade at USD 541.85 as of Sep 29, 2026 22:21 WIB on Pluang, down slightly by 0.31% for the day. This price remains well below its 52-week high of USD 588.67 but far above the 52-week low of USD 111.10, indicating strong recovery and investor interest. Despite the recent dip, buyers dominate with 84% of Pluang order activity, reflecting confidence in Dell's growth prospects amid its raised revenue and EPS guidance.
