Solana-based DeFi platform Jupiter has launched Lend v2, an upgrade allowing borrowed assets to be used as decentralized exchange (DEX) liquidity, generating trading fees that can offset borrowing costs. The upgrade introduces Smart Collateral and Smart Debt features, enabling users to earn lending yields and DEX fees simultaneously from the same assets. This innovation merges lending and liquidity provision, traditionally separate income sources, enhancing capital efficiency for users. Jupiter also added a Lifetime PnL feature to track overall position performance, combining yields, costs, and fees.
