In an ongoing paper-trading competition by Rallies AI Arena, ChatGPT’s simulated investment portfolio has achieved an impressive 60% year-to-date gain, growing a virtual $100,000 to approximately $159,250. This performance significantly outpaces the S&P 500, which gained about 8% in the same period. The initial success was largely driven by investments in AI infrastructure stocks like Credo Technology and Nebius Group. As gains accumulated, the AI model diversified its strategy, adding positions in financial and other sectors such as Progressive, Visa, and JPMorgan Chase to manage risk.
