Terraform Power shareholders approve $83.75M settlement in merger lawsuit with Brookfield affiliates

Shareholders of Terraform Power, Inc. have been notified of a proposed $83.75 million cash settlement resolving a class action lawsuit related to the company's 2020 merger with Brookfield affiliates. The settlement, if approved by the Delaware Court of Chancery on June 22, 2026, will end all claims against Brookfield and related defendants. Eligible shareholders who exchanged Terraform shares for Brookfield shares or partnership units will receive pro rata payments from the settlement fund without needing to file claims. The court hearing will also address class certification, legal fees, and any objections to the settlement plan.
