A Commvault-sponsored IDC study reveals that 90% of IT leaders see a need to improve identity management to address AI-related risks, especially from non-human identities with constant data access. The rapid growth of AI agents outpaces current identity resilience, with nearly 59% calling for major changes in identity management. The study highlights gaps in cyber readiness and recovery, urging adoption of Resilience Operations (ResOps) to unify teams for better disruption response. IDC also launched a Cyber Readiness Assessment tool to help firms evaluate and improve their cyber resilience against AI-driven threats.
