Plains All American Pipeline and Plains GP Holdings announced they expect to complete the sale of their Canadian natural gas liquids (NGL) business to Keyera Corp in May 2026. Although the Canadian Competition Bureau has challenged the transaction, this does not legally prevent the deal from closing. The divestiture will refocus Plains as a pure crude oil midstream company with assets from Canada to the U.S. Gulf Coast. Plains GP Holdings owns controlling interests in Plains All American Pipeline, a major North American energy infrastructure company headquartered in Houston, Texas.
