Strategy Inc., led by Michael Saylor, increased its Bitcoin holdings by 262,884 coins in one year, now controlling about 3.9% of Bitcoin's total fixed supply of 21 million. This accumulation makes Strategy the second-largest known Bitcoin holder after Satoshi Nakamoto. The company recently made a large purchase of 34,164 BTC for $2.54 billion at an average price of $74,395 per coin. Despite a recent dip in Bitcoin's price to around $67,805, institutional holdings grew by 50,351 BTC in Q1 2026. Strategy's stock (MSTR) has broken key technical resistance levels, suggesting potential price gains toward $200. Other companies are also increasing their Bitcoin positions, indicating growing competition in corporate Bitcoin holdings.
