The infected phones, including models like Doogee S200 X and Cubot KINGKONG X, are concentrated in countries such as Mexico, France, Italy, the US, Germany, Brazil, and Spain. The malware can turn devices into proxy nodes or botnets, posing significant security risks, but the point of infection in the supply chain remains unknown, and no direct blame has been placed on the phone brands involved.
