Linea Build, a zkEVM Layer 2 network by ConsenSys, has raised its bridged ETH staking allocation from 10% to 60% on Ethereum's beacon chain. The staked ETH generates rewards that are redirected into ecosystem incentives to strengthen Linea's DeFi offerings, rather than being paid out to users. The remaining 40% of ETH is kept liquid for withdrawals, ensuring user access. This move marks a shift from testing to live deployment, with security audits and a bug bounty program supporting the protocol's safety. Users will see no direct yield or new tokens, and withdrawals prioritize unstaked ETH first, falling back to staked assets only if necessary.
