Wyoming shifts stablecoin FRNT from LayerZero to Chainlink CCIP after security breaches.

Wyoming's Stable Token Commission fully migrated its Frontier Stable Token (FRNT) from LayerZero to Chainlink's Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) following multiple security failures at LayerZero. The move was prompted by a lost private key incident and a $292 million bridge exploit linked to North Korean hackers. Chainlink CCIP offers stronger security with 16 independent node operators, SOC 2 Type 2 certification, and robust consensus mechanisms. The migration covers all eight blockchains supporting FRNT, enhancing security and operational reliability for Wyoming's state-issued stable token.

Wyoming's Stable Token Commission's migration to Chainlink's CCIP is notable amid a mixed market breadth where 27 of 50 major cryptocurrencies on Pluang rose and 22 fell as of Sep 15, 2026 04:51 WIB. Among these, THETA dropped 3.12% to Rp3.479 with a typical hold time of 77 days and a Pluang order activity skewed 79% Sell / 21% Buy. Meanwhile, CAKE increased 2.94% to Rp41.849 and AAVE rose 2.80% to Rp2.291.124, with AAVE showing a strong sell bias at 93% Sell / 7% Buy and a typical hold time of 105 days.
