Kentucky Power doubles electric demand deal with TeraWulf, offering $100M in winter bill credits to customers.

Kentucky Power has amended its agreement with TeraWulf to double the contracted electric demand from 500 MW to 1 GW at the Muskie Data campus in Kentucky. If approved, this deal will provide $100 million in winter bill credits to residential customers over 10 years, starting in 2029, potentially saving about $25 per month during winter. The expansion will also accelerate infrastructure investments, create jobs, and generate tax revenue in eastern Kentucky. Kentucky Power plans to file for regulatory approval later this year to finalize the agreement.

TeraWulf (WULF) shares rose 3.03% to USD 15.96 as of Oct 05, 2026 19:44 WIB on Pluang, reflecting investor interest following the expanded agreement with Kentucky Power.
