This trial addresses the unmet need for systemic treatments to prevent metastatic recurrence in this rare eye cancer. About 450 patients will be enrolled to evaluate relapse-free survival over 12 months of treatment versus observation. IDEAYA holds U.S. rights, Servier holds rights elsewhere, and the trial's success could lead to the first approved adjuvant therapy for this condition.
