Rome Protocol has launched the Hadrian testnet, allowing MetaMask and Phantom wallet users to access a shared Compound v3 lending pool on Solana Devnet. This testnet executes Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) code within Solana, enabling developers to test decentralized finance (DeFi) lending functions across Ethereum and Solana wallets. Users can supply collateral, borrow, repay, and withdraw USDC using test tokens with no real-world value. Hadrian also supports Solidity contracts calling native Solana programs, offering developers a platform to explore cross-chain DeFi application performance before mainnet deployment.
