Giyani Metals Corp announced that its high-purity manganese oxide has passed interim Phase 2 testing by US battery tech firm C4V, marking progress for its K.Hill manganese project in Botswana. The tests showed strong electrode density, cycling stability, and capacity retention, with Phase 2 expected to complete within 60 days. Following this, Phase 3 multi-layer pouch cell testing will begin, lasting about six months. The company is also developing two battery-grade manganese products and expects to release a feasibility study this quarter, supported by a potential $225 million US financing letter of intent.
