FedEx has teamed up with last-mile delivery company OneRail to launch a same-day delivery program for its customers, allowing retailers to offer faster shipping options with flexible delivery windows and real-time tracking. This move comes shortly after Amazon announced ultrafast delivery within one to three hours, intensifying the competition in quick delivery services. OneRail's AI-driven network covers nearly 99% of the U.S., enabling efficient routing and delivery without retailers needing to overhaul their infrastructure. The partnership aims to provide competitive pricing and convenience, helping retailers meet growing consumer demand for speedy shipping.
