Inverse XRP ETF launch delayed to Oct 11, 2026, after SEC review extension.

The Teucrium 2x Short Daily XRP ETF, designed to deliver twice the inverse of XRP's daily price movement, has had its launch delayed to October 11, 2026, due to a registration effectiveness pushback by the SEC following a post-effective amendment. This delay extends a nearly two-year review process since the initial filing in January 2025. The ETF aims to provide investors with a tool to bet against XRP or hedge existing XRP positions without holding the asset directly, using derivatives like swaps. Meanwhile, the XRP ETF market continues to grow with spot and leveraged products already available, and the October date now marks the next key milestone for this inverse ETF amid evolving market and regulatory conditions.
