Eco (Atlantic) Oil & Gas highlighted potential exposure to about 225 million barrels of prospective oil at the PL001 licence in the North Falkland Basin, where partner Navitas Petroleum plans exploration drilling in early 2027. Navitas estimates the target holds a 2U prospective resource of 640 million barrels, with Eco's share based on its acquisition of JHI Associates and a successful drill. A discovery could link back to the Sea Lion platform, part of Navitas's North Falkland development. Eco also updated offshore South Africa's Block 1 CBK, indicating 4.5 trillion cubic feet of gas and 3.6 billion barrels of oil in prospective resources, pending regulatory approval and further seismic work.
