The wallet withdrew 257.6 ETH and $545,000 in USDT, converting USDT to ETH and consolidating funds before sending them to a linked address. Bitget detected unauthorized transfers on Sept. 24, initially estimating losses at $351.6 million, later revised to $387.5 million including other cryptocurrencies. Bitget has fixed the wallet vulnerability, kept customer balances accurate, and plans to resume withdrawals in stages from Sept. 28 to Oct. 2.
