Diversified Energy Company PLC has agreed to acquire Permian Basin producer Birch for about $1.8 billion, marking its largest acquisition to date. The deal is expected to increase Diversified's production by around 35% and adjusted EBITDA by roughly 55%, adding approximately 68,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day and $548 million in annualized adjusted EBITDA. Birch's assets include 480 wells, 46,000 mineral acres, and infrastructure, with an estimated EBITDA margin of 80%.
