CZ burned $1.6 million worth of third-party tokens in July 2026 and plans to donate the remaining $960,000 in BNB and BinanceLife tokens to Giggle Academy, a nonprofit he founded, before abandoning the wallet. This move ends a year-long issue caused by the permissionless blockchain environment that allows anyone to send tokens to public addresses without approval.
