Circle has extended its Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol (CCTP) beyond USDC to support native transfers of EURC and cirBTC across the Arc blockchain network and other routes. EURC transfers now operate across Arc, Avalanche, Base, Ethereum, and World Chain, while cirBTC currently connects Arc and Ethereum. This expansion allows developers to move multiple Circle-issued assets natively across chains without relying on liquidity pools. Although Gateway currently supports only USDC for unified balances on Arc and Ethereum, Circle plans to add EURC and cirBTC support in the future. This development enhances multi-asset interoperability and prepares the network for broader asset workflows, with Arc continuing to grow its ecosystem since its September launch.
