Chariot Ltd has entered a partnership with Etu Energias and BW Energy that will double its economic footprint in Angola, giving it exposure to future cash flows equivalent to about 4,000 barrels of oil per day. The agreement supports Etu Energias’ acquisition of additional working interests in offshore Blocks 14 and 14K, with Chariot providing operational and technical support. The deal, backed by Shell Western Supply and Trading's acquisition debt funding, values Chariot's interest at a net NPV10 of over $100 million at $60 per barrel. Block 14 currently produces around 40,000 barrels per day and has proven reserves of 93 million barrels, with potential for further development from nearby discoveries.
