C-COM launches 1.2m Q-band antenna for stratospheric platform tracking and rapid disaster network deployment

C-COM Satellite Systems has developed a new 1.2m Q-band Driveaway Antenna designed to track moving platforms in the stratosphere, such as High Altitude Platform Stations (HAPS). This vehicle-mounted system enables rapid deployment of mobile ground stations that maintain high-capacity, low-latency Q-band links to flying nodes, providing 4G/5G/6G coverage over large areas, especially in disaster zones where terrestrial networks are down. The technology offers advantages over traditional fixed stations by enabling quick setup without fixed gateways, higher bandwidth, and enhanced security for backhaul applications. C-COM is also advancing other satellite antenna technologies, aiming to expand its market reach in mobile satellite communications.

C-COM's development of a Q-band antenna for tracking moving stratospheric platforms is presented here with Pluang's Technology sector market data as context. As of Oct 14, 2026 18:51 WIB, out of 150 priced Technology-sector US stocks tradable on Pluang, 55 rose and 85 fell.
