BNY launches Digital Transfer Agency to support tokenized and traditional funds on blockchain.

BNY has introduced its Digital Transfer Agency (TA) capabilities to support both digital and traditional asset funds across multiple jurisdictions and blockchains. This new service enables fund providers to operate fully on-chain with legal and economic titles existing on blockchain, enhancing transparency and mobility of assets. Initial clients include BNY Investments Dreyfus, Baillie Gifford, and BlackRock, who are launching tokenized money market funds using this platform. The Digital TA is part of BNY's broader digital asset offerings, aiming to integrate traditional fund servicing with innovative digital market infrastructure for institutional investors.
