Bitget Wallet will introduce Assetback on August 1, enabling eligible cardholders to automatically convert their purchase rewards into one of seven assets including Bitcoin, tokenized gold, tokenized shares of Nvidia, Tesla, Alphabet, an S&P 500 ETF token, or USDC. Cardholders earn a base 2% reward, with the possibility to boost rewards to 3% during special periods. Rewards become redeemable seven days after transactions and require at least one USDC before withdrawal. This new program replaces the previous cash rewards system and aims to provide users with diversified crypto and tokenized asset exposure through routine spending. Availability depends on regional eligibility and requires the latest Bitget Wallet app version. The rollout will test user adoption of non-cash rewards across multiple global markets.
