Bitget adds Russia and Belarus to banned list, issues withdrawal notices to some users.

Bitget updated its Terms of Use on October 16 to add Russia and Belarus to its list of prohibited jurisdictions, alongside Kazakhstan which was already listed. Starting October 17, affected users will receive personalized instructions via email or app notifications detailing next steps, deadlines, and withdrawal options. The update does not impact U.S. users or accounts without official notices. Bitget has not disclosed how many users are affected or the reasons behind the change, nor set a universal deadline for withdrawals. This move restricts users living or operating in these countries from using Bitget services.
