Bank of America to redeem $2 billion in senior notes on Sept 15, 2026 at par value plus accrued interest

Bank of America announced it will redeem all outstanding Floating Rate Senior Notes ($500 million) and Fixed/Floating Rate Senior Notes ($1.5 billion), both due September 2027, on September 15, 2026. The redemption price will be 100% of the principal plus accrued interest up to the redemption date, after which interest will stop accruing. This move allows Bank of America to manage its debt maturity profile and potentially reduce interest expenses. Payments will be processed through The Depository Trust Company with The Bank of New York Mellon Trust Company acting as trustee and paying agent.
