Anthropic has signed a $10 billion, six-year deal with AI cloud startup Volta to provide cloud computing capacity for its AI projects. The data center, located in Norway and powered by Nvidia's latest AI chips, will deliver 133 megawatts of capacity. Volta, partnered with crypto-mining firm Bitdeer, will develop the facility, expanding Anthropic's compute power amid competition with other AI companies. This deal follows Anthropic's recent partnerships with SpaceX and Amazon to boost its AI infrastructure.
