Aduro Clean Technologies and ECOCE have completed phase 1 of mapping flexible plastic waste streams in Mexico, estimated at 1.5 million tonnes annually. They are now moving selected post-consumer flexible packaging materials into Hydrochemolytic™ (HCT) technology testing to evaluate their potential for conversion into circular hydrocarbon products. This collaboration aims to develop sustainable recycling solutions for difficult-to-recycle flexible plastics, supporting Mexico's circular economy goals. Successful lab-scale results could lead to pilot plant testing and eventual commercial scaling.
