Why has my Pocket count hit the max limit even though I've sold some already?
The 25-Pocket limit is counted cumulatively, not by your currently active Pockets — a Pocket you've fully sold still counts toward the 25 even though it no longer appears in your portfolio. Selling a Pocket doesn't free up a new slot.
| Symptom / Condition | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Sold several Pockets but still can't create a new one | The 25-Pocket cap counts every Pocket you've ever used, not just current holdings | This is expected behavior under the current cap. Check your Portfolio and Transaction History to review your existing and past Pockets — if you're at the limit, you'll need to work within your current allowance rather than expecting an exception |
| Unsure how many Pockets you've used historically | Pocket count isn't limited to what's visible in your active portfolio | Check your Portfolio and Transaction History to review your existing and past Pockets and get a sense of your total usage |
| Confused why a sold Pocket still "counts" | The limit is designed as a lifetime/cumulative cap across Crypto and US Stocks, not a live inventory count | Treat every Pocket you create as using one of your 25 slots permanently, whether or not you later sell it |

It's combined — the cap of 25 applies cumulatively across both Crypto and US Stock Pockets, not separately per asset type.
Q: Does selling a Pocket free up room for a new one?
No — a fully sold Pocket still counts toward your lifetime total of 25, so selling doesn't create a new available slot.

Check your Portfolio and Transaction History to review your existing and past Pockets — if you're at the limit, you'll need to work within your current allowance rather than expecting an exception.
