How Do I Check My Margin Level Status in Crypto Futures on Pluang?

You can check your margin level status on your USDT Margin Balance page, where the top right corner shows your current level as a rising percentage from 0% toward 100% or higher. Pluang applies an Initial Margin Call once your margin level passes 50%, and a Final Margin Call once it passes 75%, after which only close or reduce-exposure orders are allowed.

  • The percentage reflects your current margin level on a rising 0%–100%+ scale — a single number displayed prominently at the top right of the USDT Margin Balance page.
  • Check it regularly if you have open positions — margin level moves as Mark Price changes, so a level that looked safe earlier can shift quickly.
  • The two risk thresholds are fixed — Initial Margin Call triggers above 50%, and Final Margin Call triggers above 75%, restricting you to closing or reducing exposure.
  • Use it alongside your In Use and Available to Move figures — the percentage shows overall margin health, while those two figures show how your funds are allocated.
  • Reviewing this page before opening a new position helps confirm how much room you have, especially on Cross Margin positions where risk is shared across your whole balance.

Related questions:

Q: Where exactly do I find my margin level?
On your USDT Margin Balance page — the percentage is shown in the top right corner, representing how close your account is to a margin call or liquidation.

Q: Does my margin level change automatically?
Yes. It updates as the Mark Price of your open positions moves, since that price drives your unrealized PnL.

Q: Why should I check my margin level regularly?
Monitoring it helps you catch a rising level early, ideally before it crosses the 50% Initial Margin Call threshold, rather than reacting once you're already past 75%.

Q: Is the margin level the same as Available to Move?
No. Margin level is an overall percentage reflecting your account's risk, while Available to Move is the actual USDT amount not tied up in open positions.

Q: What happens once my margin level crosses 75%?
That's your Final Margin Call threshold — past this point, only orders that close or reduce exposure are allowed, and liquidation follows if the level keeps climbing toward 100%.
