PT Penta Valent Tbk (the Company) was established in 1968 in Jakarta, Indonesia under the name of CV Penta Valent, hereinafter, based on Notarial Deed No. 48 of Bebasa Daeng Lalo, S.H., dated August 16, 1972. The Company started its commercial operations in 1968. PT Tancorp Global Sentosa, a company incorporated in Indonesia, is the ultimate parent entity of the Company.

About Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk.

Perusahaan perseroan (Persero) PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk was originally a part of “Post en Telegraafdienst”, which was established in 1884. The government separated postal & telecommunication services in 1965 into two state-owned companies, PN Pos & Giro and PN Telekomunikasi, respectively. In 1974, PN Telekomunikasi was further divided into two state-owned companies, Perusahaan Umum Telekomunikasi (Perumtel) and PT Inti. In 1980, the international telecommunications business was transferred from Perumtel to PT Indonesian Satellite Corporation Tbk (Indosat).
