Prior to becoming a separate business entity, PT Indonesia Vehicle Terminal was only a strategic business unit called Tanjung Priok Car Terminal (TPT) under its Head Office and operated since June 2007.

PT Renuka Coalindo Tbk (The Company) was initially established under the name PT Sanex Qianjiang Motor International. Sanex Qianjiang Motor International Tbk (the company) was established on 21 March 2000 based on Notaries Deed dated No. 180 and the deed of establishment was approved by the the Ministry of Justice dated July 24, 2000.
