About Indofarma Tbk.

PT Indonesia Farma Tbk, known as PT Indofarma (Persero) Tbk (the Company) was established based on Deed No. 1 dated January 2, 1996 as amended by Deed No. 134 dated January 26, 1996 both of Notary Sutjipto, SH. PT. Indofarma, Tbk began as medicine factory well known as "Pabrik Obat Manggarai". Then take over by Japan's Government from Nederland's Government on 1942. On 1950 the Indonesian Government acquisited the factory by Department of Health and functioned as center of pharmacy production for its department. On 1979 the name changed to be Department of Health Center of Pharmacy Production as non Profit institution as main assignment to produced medicine for public service. Then the Company changed the name as PT. Indonesia Farma Tbk, known as PT Indofarma (Persero) Tbk.

PT Pabrik Kertas Tjiwi Kimia Tbk (the Company) was established in 1972 under the name of PT Tjiwi Kimia and was later renamed to become PT Pabrik Kertas Tjiwi Kimia in 1974. The total production capacity as of December 31, 1999 for the printing and writing paper stood at 1.014.000 tonnes per annum, packaging and converted products at 78.000 tonnes per annum and stationery at 275.000 tonnes per annum.The Company started its commercial production in 1977.
