PT Holcim Indonesia Tbk (the Company) was originally a joint venture between a subsidiary of Kaiser Cement and Gypsum Corp. and PT Semen Gresik. Founded in 1971, the company owns a factory in Narogong, West Java, with an annual capacity of 3 million tons. The Company changed its foreign capital investment status (PMA) to domestic capital investment (PMDN) based on the approval from Chairman of Capital Investment Coordinating Board No. 17/V/1988 dated November 19, 1988. Effective January 1, 2006, the Company changed its name from PT Semen Cibinong Tbk. to PT Holcim Indonesia Tbk.
