WISeKey's WISeSat advances as a European quantum-secure space tech company with expanded satellite infrastructure.

WISeKey International's space subsidiary WISeSat is evolving into "WISE Space Advanced Technologies," focusing on quantum-secure satellite communications. Since 2021, WISeSat has tested secure IoT communications on 21 launched LEO satellites and currently operates 14, integrating SEALSQ's post-quantum technologies. This positions WISeSat to support SEALSQ's Quantum Spatial Orbital Cloud (QSOC) roadmap, aiming to provide quantum-secure services like QKD and post-quantum identity from orbit. The company plans to transition to larger 6U satellites to enhance secure communications infrastructure for government and commercial markets.
