Western Midstream Partners (WES) announced the acquisition of Brazos Delaware II, LLC for approximately $1.6 billion, paying half in cash and half in equity. This deal expands WES's natural gas and crude oil gathering and processing footprint in the Delaware Basin by about 49% in acreage and 20% in processing capacity. The acquisition adds 470,000 dedicated acres and 460 MMcf/d of processing capacity, diversifies WES's customer base with long-term contracts, and is expected to boost 2026 distributable cash flow per unit.
