However, weekly prescription growth has slowed to 2% as the market adjusts to new entrants. Wegovy pill's prescription volume is about 2.4 times that of Lilly's injectable Zepbound at a similar launch stage. Lilly's Foundayo, launched in April, recorded 16,000 prescriptions in its sixth week, but its marketing campaign is yet to start, which could change the competitive landscape.
