Franklin Templeton and Ondo Finance have partnered to offer five tokenized ETFs on the blockchain via Ondo Global Markets, allowing investors worldwide to access traditional ETFs digitally through crypto wallets. This innovation converts ETF shares into blockchain tokens, enabling continuous trading beyond regular market hours and self-custody without brokers. The ETFs cover diverse assets including growth stocks, large-cap equities, gold, corporate bonds, and income-focused equities, while Franklin Templeton continues managing the funds. This move expands global distribution channels, especially for investors outside the U.S., and integrates traditional assets into decentralized finance ecosystems.
