Virtuix, Inc. announced a collaboration with the U.S. Marine Corps Training and Education Command to lead an operational assessment of a multi-user virtual infantry training system. The system uses four Omni One omni-directional treadmills allowing a fire team of four Marines to physically move and train together in a shared virtual environment, replicating real combat movements. This immersive VR training aims to improve muscle memory and situational awareness, enhancing infantry readiness. The system is expected to be delivered by the end of 2026 and could expand to Marine Corps training centers nationwide if successful.
